CEVA Logistics consolidates its collaboration with PC City in Spain

CEVA renews and extends contracts with PC City for three years

Subirats, Spain, 9 June, 2009 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world's leading supply chain management companies, has renewed and extended its contract in Spain with PC City. CEVA is already responsible for all manipulation and storage activities for PC City in Spain and will now also control the product distribution to the store network in the country.

"Thanks to the deployment of the LEAN culture in our site, we are obtaining significant improvements in quality operation for the customer and at the same time, experiencing an even more highly motivated work force." explains Bart Beeks, Director Technology Division & Consumer of CEVA in Iberia. "We are pleased with the confidence that PC City has demonstrated in CEVA by renewing our existing contract and adding new activities to it, for example, the distribution management from our multi-user logistic centre in Ontigola, South of Madrid, to all PC City stores in Spain".

Jaime Caro, Business Development Director of PC City, commented that "By the extension of the storage contract renewed to cover three years of manipulation and storage, we want to reaffirm our confidence in the service provided by CEVA Logistics. The scope of this new contract will allow us to control and direct the variations of our logistic costs based upon the volumes demanded by our stores and also allow us to be to efficiently meet the new challenges that our business plan could raise".
