TNT Logistics UK wins BRAKE Road Safety Awards

BRAKE is the road safety charity dedicated to preventing deaths and injuries on roads through awareness-raising campaigns, including Road Safety Week and the provision of educational resources.

At a presentation evening attended by business people from the transport and logistics industry, Mary Williams OBE, Founder and President of BRAKE presented TNT Logistics with an award for ‘Commitment to Road Safety'. Andy Jenkins, Manager, Operations Training, was also Highly Commended in the ‘Road Risk Manager of the Year' category.

The judges commended TNT Logistics' commitment to road safety: "The award goes to TNT Logistics which has gone above and beyond the call of duty in its commitment to road safety, not just within the company but also within the wider community."

Presenting Andy Jenkins with his well-deserved certificate the judges commended Andy's achievements: "For a risk manager who has implemented vehicle risk management polices with proven results."

Neil Crossthwaite, Managing Director, TNT Logistics UK, commented on the awards. "I am delighted that our commitment to road safety and vehicle risk management has been recognised by BRAKE.
